The unique sponge-free design of the filter minimizes maintenance, while the UV feature eliminates single-celled algae that cause green water.
The kit also includes the AquaForce® 2700 Solids-Handling Pond Pump to provide the ideal flow for the filter. Also included is 25 feet of 1.5" kink-free pipe and stainless steel hose clamps, helping to make installation quick and easy.

Warranty Procedure: If you cut the cord, it will void the replacement warranty.
Modifying the cord on almost any electrical item will void the warranty because there's a lot that can go wrong with voltages.
In addition to that, there's no way to test the pump to determine what is wrong with it when the cord has been cut.
Running the pump dry will void the warranty.
